MEET FRANCES
Founder & CEO
Over a decade ago, Frances noticed a lack of representation in the children's fashion industry. In response, she created a platform to bring balance and diversity to the industry.
As a mother of four, Frances has always been interested in fashion and has been hosting & producing fashion shows since teenage years. In 2007, she organized a photo shoot in her community with her children, family, and friends, to create a children's magazine and runway production.
Combining her passion for fashion, her experience in healthcare and education, she launched Golden Kids Runway, Fashion Fight for a Cause. This project is deeply personal to Frances, as it stems from her own life experiences and her desire to promote diverse visibility.
Golden is a platform for emerging beauty, talent, and creativity in children, while also fostering connections and giving back to the community. Frances's personal mission is simple: "We rise by lifting others, and in doing so, let's shine a light on every child because we are all golden." She believes that childhood is a magical time and it is important to empower children's uniqueness and celebrate their greatness.
